Chapter 1179: "Got it," Denver said with a nod.
Brady had been found-that was what mattered most.
As he turned to head back to his car, his eyes caught sight of a second stretcher.

Still, it was obvious the medical team around this one was far more tense than the group attending to Brady. As the stretcher was rushed forward, a nurse kept pace beside it, squeezing a breathing bag to help the patient breathe.
A group trailed close behind. Cordell ran alongside, his eyes brimming with tears. "Mr. Scott! Please, nothing can happen to you!" He had been assigned by Ferris to accompany Eric. Protecting him was his sole responsibility. If something went wrong, how would he ever answer to Ferris? Ferris, the patriarch of a powerful family with six sons and three daughters, had only one promising heir-Eric. And it had taken immense effort to persuade him to cback to the Scott family. Cordell's eyes were red with panic as he snapped at the medical team, "If anything happens to him, we'll tear your whole hospital apart!" "We'll do our best!" Nearby, Denver watched with a deep frown, puzzled. Was that person on the stretcher someone from the Scott family? Denver had been out of the country too long. Maybe that was why he hadn't heard or known much about the Scott family.
As the group approached the ambulance, all non-essential personnel were asked to step aside.
The stretcher was lifted into the vehicle, and just before the doors closed, Denver caught a glimpse of the face of the person lying on it.
"Eric?" His eyes widened in shock.
It was Eric! He tried to move closer for a better look, but the ambulance doors shut before he could take another step. Denver rushed back to his car, started the engine, and took off after the ambulance.
At the hospital, Hadley's phone rang. It was a call from Denver.
Without wasting time, she hurried toward the emergency center. "Denver!" She spotted him from afar, standing there waiting for her.
Hadley rushed toward him.
"Careful!" Denver reached out quickly to steady her as she climbed the steps, worried she might stumble.
"I'm fine!" Hadley panted, shaking her head as she caught her breath.
She then stretched her neck to look inside.
"You said Brady has been found? Is that true? Where is he?"
"It's true." Denver nodded, pointing inside. "When he was found, he was was unconscious. He's inside now, receiving urgent medical attention."
"Urgent medical attention?" Her heart skipped. "Is he injured s if serious?" Theldont' hei
"We don't know yet," Denver answered gently. "But don't panic. The paramedics said his vitals are stable and there's no sign of any severe injury. They're currently running tests, and we'll know more once he wakes up."
