Chapter 243 243: Meeting mom In the meantime, Max have been growing restless due to Priscilla's ignorance.
After she blamed him for forcing on her despite her resistance, he ended up having sex with her and now she fears she would not longer would want to be with him.
Max felt guilty for his actions regretting ever drinking and forcing himself on Priscilla. But he was too enraged by the thought of her going to meet that man from the restaurant.
He thought last night she was going out to meet him which spike his doubts and he ended up doing things he shouldn't.
"But why is my memory so blurry?" He muttered but he quickly dismissed thinking so after Priscilla left him without any word.
He was so caught up in the after effects that it took him sometimes to regain his composure and contact her.
But here she was ignoring his call and making him feel bad about everything that conspired.
"I won't dare to drink henceforth. But before that, I should go and apologize Priscilla. She just can't leavewith this guilt. I have to make up with her" he said and quickly got ready to head to the office.
**** [Coffee shop] "You don't need to drop me. I'll get back hon my own " Eveline said causing Gabriel to arch his brow.
"What? Did you say you have a meeting?" She said when she noticed the look on his face.
Eveline was trying to be a good girlfriend who didn't wanted to bother her boyfriend much, but here he was looking suspiciously at her.

"So there is no way I woud guarantee that you go straight home" Eveline furrowed and grabbed her purse furiously.
"You think I am lying?" She asked and he motioned ziping his lips infuriating her even more.
Gabriel turned and started walking towards the door with Eveline following him with the sannoyed face.
"What does that mean?" She asked as they stood next to his car.
"What does that mean?" He repeated pretending to be clueless.
"Gabriel you did something earlier. What does that mean!?" She snapped.
Gabriel retested his arm on the top of the car and tilted his head confusingly.
When her anger began to increase he gave up and sighed.
"Okay fine, I agree that I doubt you will go hand not roam around" he said and instantly let go of her glaring look.
"I will but after meeting mom" she said causing Gabriel to worry even more.
Eveline hardly visited Erna's resting place maybe once in a year during her death anniversary, but now when she speaks up going there, he wondered of it was okay to let her be herself.
"Then letcwth you" he said to which she declined.
"You are not. I don't want you to neglect your work and trustafter meeting her I will return home. If you want you can send your gaurds with me. I don't mind" she suggested and he let out a deep breath before reaching his hands to hold her shoulder.
"I don't want to leave you alone when-" he paused and looked into her eyes helplessly.
Yesterday she brokedown after learning her mother was killed and now she wanted to visit her grave out of the blue which were giving Gabriel a strange feeling.
She might say she would be fine but he know that won't be the case.
"Trust me, I won't let myself get carried away" she assured him and he nodded.
If she wanted to be alone, then he would met her be.
"My men will be guarding you from a distance. So don't feel obligated to them and spent sometwith Aunt Erna" he said before kissing her forehead and then getting into the car and driving off.
Eveline let out a deep breath and pulled out her phone quickly booking a cab for her and soon driving off to the Angels Memorial park.
**** Eveline purposely hesitated to visit her mother's tombstone as she never wanted her. Mother to ever find how lonely she had been all her life.
But after she was slowly succumbing into depression, and even Susan left, her only solace was her mother's resting place.
She remembered coming here and spending ttalking with her mother expressing her feelings and how she had been feeling neglected by the person she loved.

"So for coming uninvited. But I truly wished to see you" Eveline kneeled next to her mother's tombstone and smiled.
Her eyes shimmering with tears expressing the sadness within.
"I know you must be sad that yoir daughter never really cto visit you, but I was scared that might break down and keep calling your nmaking you and the people aroundworried for my condition" A tear roll down her eyes as she continued to pour her heart out.
"Dad said you always wantedto be happy, which was the only reason that stopedcoming here. I didn't wanted you to see how lonely I was despite surrounded my so many loving people." Eveline looked down and caressed the engraved nwith her palm.
"Erna Miller, who were you and what cause your life to end this way?" She questioned.
He mother being targetted was enough for her to believe that someone held grudge against her parents and she wanted to know what cause this despute that caused her life.
"I can imagine how helpless you might be during the tyou were shot. I can imagine dad's pain too, but why wouldn't you make it to punish the people who thought your life was cheap" she asked.
"Why would dad forgive them so easily and even erase every possible trace of your existence" Eveline continued demanding an answer but she knew it would never come.
"But I am not dad. I will make those people suffer for your misery. I will hunt them down and make them regret surviving for so long. Dad might never tellanything, but I will surve you justice Mom because I am your daughter and you always thoughtto fight through all circumstances "
