Chapter 1176 Mandy Nursed Colin
Lost in thought, she stood there, her gaze fixed on Colin.
Sensing Mandy's troubled expression, Cherise approached her and asked softly, "Hey, are you okay?"
Mandy took a deep breath. "Cherry, why don't you and Damien head to bed? Damien's got work tomorrow, and it's late. You both
need srest. I'm pretty much done with everything here in Yatesville anyway, so | can sleep in tomorrow. Besides, Colin got hurt
because of me, so it's the least | can do to look after him."
Damien nodded. "Sounds good to me."
He got up and walked straight to the door. Picking Cherise up, who was still standing there deep in thought. He said, e on,
let's get sshut-eye."
Cherise glanced back as they left. Mandy sat next to Colin, carefully wiping sweat off his forehead with a towel. She wanted to stay

Upstairs, Cherise let out a frustrated sigh and swatted his hand away. "Seriously? You're leaving Mandy with your brother?"
Damien raised an eyebrow. "Didn't you want that?"
Cherise narrowed her eyes at him. "But | thought you said they weren't a good match?"
"How would | know?" Damien replied vaguely. "Maybe things will be different after today."
The following day, Colin was still unconscious. Suddenly, his phone buzzed, breaking the silence. It was Lennon on the line.
Mandy, practically glued to the bedside all night, jolted awake at the phone's shrill ring. Sleep-fogged, she assumed it was hers and
mumbled a groggy "Hello?" into the receiver.
Silence.
Then, Lennon's voice cut through the quiet, icy and on edge. "Who are you? Why are you with Colin? It's barely six in the morning,
and a woman's answering his phone? Spill it, what's the deal between you two?"
Lennon had always believed Lucy married Colin because of a mix of disappointment in him and maybe sfeelings for Colin on
her part.
He'd naively believed Colin would straighten things out with his family, live happily ever after with Lucy, and be the shoulder she
needed to cry on and to move on.
But they'd only been married briefly, and already another woman was in the picture?
"Why am | with him..." Mandy slurred, barely awake. "Hold on, who are you? Why's it your business? We're together if we want to
be, not if we don't. What's it got to do with you anyway? Sjealous ex? Busybody much?"
She hung up with a loud bang and flopped back onto the bed.
Lennon, on the other hand, stared at his phone, bewildered. The woman's voice sounded strangely familiar but definitely wasn't
Lucy's.

He rose from his chair and peeked out the window at the pre-dawn sky. His mind whirred. He'd naively assumed Lucy and Colin's
marriage would be happy.
'What happens now? Colin is already cheating with another woman? What about Lucy now? She'll be heartbroken!" Lennon
panicked a little.
With a heavy sigh, Lennon hesitated momentarily, then pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
Soon, a young, cheerful voice answered on the other end.
"How can | help you, Mr. Belcourt?" Alexis had just woken up, nestled in bed with one of Colin'sics. He was deeply immersed in
the plot, the hero locked in an epic battle with a god. The thrill sent a rush of adrenaline through him, leaving him feeling good.
Usually, Alexis wouldn't even waste his tanswering Lennon's calls.
"Hey. Is your mom around?" the man asked.
Alexis let out a small yawn. "Still sleeping. You need something?"
