Chapter 1173 Are Theypatible?
Mandy was briefly stunned by Colin's response.
"Don't you dare bring up what happened tonight again! Or I'll knock you out!"
"I can keep quiet, but it wasn't justwho saw."
Colin calmly laid out the stark truth, "I'm quite well-known at the moment. Since you drank withtonight and caused a scene,
many people would start gossiping about you."
Mandy was rendered speechless.
She raised her head from the clothes and knocked her hand hard on Colin's head. "Why are you so annoying? Did you have to say
all that? Would it hurt you to shut up?"
Colin smirked. His mood strangely brightened at her hysterical reaction. "What? Still trying to see who can outdo whom?"
Mandy was aghast.
"You jerk!"

Though her words were sharp, her cheeks betrayed a faint blush.
"Thank you for tonight," she muttered reluctantly.
Despite having no memory of her intoxicated state, she was told what trouble she had caused while she was drunk and even
started a fight. She knew she couldn't have emerged unscathed.
The police had also mentioned that if Colin hadn't been there to protect her, she would have sustained more severe injuries.
Glancing at Colin's bandaged forehead, she asked softly, "Does it hurt?"
"Not much," Colin replied with a chuckle. "It was painful right after getting hit, though. But now, not so much."
Surprisingly, arguing with her seemed to soothe his pain.
"You're hopeless," Mandy retorted, rolling her eyes. "Why did you have to jump in? They couldn't have takendown anyway."
Colin responded with a grin, "As a man, | couldn't just stand by and watch you get hurt, could 1?"
"Are you two done chatting?"
The two bantered back and forth, oblivious that Damien had already opened the door and was standing at the entrance.
"We're not chatting!"
"We're not chatting!"
The two protested simultaneously upon hearing Damien. They then glanced at each other briefly before turning away in disgust.
"Hmph!"
Damien sighed and rubbed his forehead. "Let's go."
They got up and followed Damien out together.
"What about Cherise?" Mandy couldn't help but ask as they walked from the guard room to the police station entrance.
"She's on her way," Damien smirked faintly and strode toward the pharmacy.
"Have you gotten them out?"
Cherise approached with a large bag of gauze, alcohol, and iodine.
As she got closer, she noticed Colin and Mandy stood at the entrance, glaring at each other.

For sreason, Cherise felt that the two unexpectedlyplimented each other as they stood side by side. The docile Colin
seemed well-matched with the tempestuous Mandy.
"We'll discuss it later."
Damien opened the car door and ushered her inside.
"Darling."
Seated in the plush leather seat, Cherise quickly grabbed Damien's hand and gestured towards Colin and Mandy outside the car
window. "Do you think they make a great pair?"
Damien frowned, knowing it was a loaded question.
Cherise's face lit up with curiosity, interested in pairing Colin with Mandy. She'd be disappointed if he said they weren't suited and
thought he lacked vision. But if he agreed...
Colin was his twin brother, and they looked almost identical. Suggesting Colin and Mandy were well-matched would indirectly imply
that Mandy was alsopatible with him. Handling that sort of idea in the future could be tricky.
Opting for a safe answer, Damien said firmly, "Absolutely not."
Cherise was rendered speechless.
