Chapter 1171 Issues with Masculinity

The assistant hesitated. "Um..."

"Ms. Wool, I'll be heading out now."

"I will turn off my phone when | go to bed, so please don't cause any trouble... If something happens to you, | can't help you

immediately..."

His words trailed off under Mandy's icy glare. A few seconds later, he left, looking thoroughly defeated.

Colin gave Mandy a mocking look under the bar's dim, suggestive lighting. "Tsk, tsk, Ms. Wool. Didn't expect you to be so

authoritative in front of your subordinates..."

It made him think of his own situation. Lennon, technically his subordinate, never respected him. At thepany, he had plenty of

underlings, but when they looked at him, there was always a hint of ridicule in their eyes.

Everyone knew he was a useless figure propped up by Damien. No one respected him, and certainly, no one treated him with the

deference Mandy's assistant had just shown.

"Of course," Mandy rolled her eyes at him and sat beside him. "His salary is in my hands, so of course he's afraid of me."

She gave Colin a once-over, then glanced at the empty bottles near him. "Bad day? Drowning your sorrows?"

Colin didn't answer. Instead, he placed a bottle of strong liquor before her. "Since we bumped into each other, care to join me?"

He continued, "Don't worry, if you get drunk in Yatesville and break something, I've got your back."

Colin had heard the assistant's earlier words.

Mandy mentally cursed her assistant countless times before smiling at Colin. "Mr. Gray, do you carry that much clout?"

"It's Gray Group that has clout. No matter what, I'm still Gray Group's president."

He gave a self-deprecating smile. "Even if I'm a failure, they'll still givethe respect due."

Mandy frowned slightly, noticing Colin's low spirits. His mood clearly had something to do with his earlier self-deprecating remark

about being "useless."

She had heard bits and pieces from Cherise about why Colin had be Gray Group's president and how Damien and Lennon had

supported him.

Mandy pouted before smiling at him. "If you haven't tried, how do you know you're useless?"

Colin sneered, "You think | haven't tried?"

"When a man calls himself useless, he usually means he's impotent." Mandy winked seductively at Colin. "Still a virgin, aren't you?

How do you know you can't do it?"

Colin was stunned, realizing she hadpletely misunderstood him. His face reddened. "That's not what | meant!"

"Then what did you mean? Weren't you saying you couldn't get aroused?"

Colin snapped, "How can you be so shameless?"

"You're the one who brought it up," Mandy shrugged.

Colin gritted his teeth, forcing himself to stay calm. "That's not what | meant!"

For the next half hour, he used various ways to explain to Mandy that he had no issues with his masculinity, pletely etting

why he'd been brooding earlier.

After downing a bottle of liquor, Mandy's consciousness began to blur. "If you think you're a man, let's have a manly showdown!"

Colin blinked, confused.

A manly showdown?

Suddenly, Mandy grabbed a bottle and smashed it on the bar without warning. She declared, "Let's fight evil and uphold justice

together!"
