Chapter 1167 Spilling the Beans
"I'm afraid you won't have that opportunity," Damien's deep voice remained calm andposed. "| won't give you that
opportunity, nor will | argue with her."
"Oh, really?" Lucy raised an eyebrow. "What if | told you Cherise used to speak ill of you in front of me? Back in Lermille, when
people asked where the father of her children went, she said..."
"Honey, your phone was turned off all last night. You must have a bunch of missed calls." Before Lucy could finish, Cherise cut her
off mid-sentence. Cherise dashed to Lucy and placed a hand over Lucy's mouth. "Go on to the office! Don't worry about me. I'll
catch up with them!"

Noticing her flustered expression and flushed face, Damien smiled lightly, but he chose not to tease her. After all, as a man, it
wouldn't be right to linger too long with three women as they caught up with each other. With a slight smile, he turned and
departed. "I'll head out. You ladies keep chatting." He made his way to the door, slipped on his coat, and left.
"Whew," Cherise exhaled heavily, slumping onto the sofa as though drained of all energy. "Lucy, you nearly gotinto big
trouble!"
Mandy smirked from her spot beside them. "Damien won't do anything to you. Your bond seems unbreakable."
Cherise scoffed, shaking her head. "You don't know the half of it!" When the man was upset, he would tell her, "I don't even have
enough tto love you. How could | bear to punish you?" But in reality, he would be more domineering in bed, and... She
shuddered at the thought of it.
Colin left the villa and drove around the city twice with no particular destination in mind. It was the weekend, so he didn't need to
go to the office, but his house had already been taken over by those three women. Before Dorothy's accident, he could always turn
to her forfort and enjoy her delicious cooking. But now... Colin sighed heavily, closing his eyes briefly before deciding to head
towards the hospital.
In the VIP ward on the hospital's top floor, Dorothy lay motionless. When Colin arrived, Jude sat beside Dorothy, his face clouded
with worry. Upon hearing the door open, Jude glanced up, forcing a smile. "Colin's here."
"Hey," Colin said, setting the fresh flowers down and taking a seat beside Jude. "It's the weekend, Jude. Don't you have any plans?"
Jude stretched nonchalantly. "Mm. The Gray Group is yours to handle, and | have nothing to worry about in mypany, so | have
plenty of free time."
Colin pursed his lips, his gaze shifting from the unconscious Dorothy to Jude, weighing his words carefully. He wanted to say

"Is there something you need to share with me?" Jude asked. Colin and Jude had grown up together, making it impossible for Colin
to conceal his feelings from Jude.
Colin furrowed his brow slightly. "Let's talk about it outside."
Ten minutes later, Colin and Jude faced each other in a café across the hospital. "I..." Colin hesitated with pursed lips. He felt that
he shouldn't hide what he had discovered from Jude. As Dorothy and Anthony's son, Jude might have a unique judgment on what
had happened between his parents. As Colin thought about it, he took a deep breath and divulged everything about Keh
framing Dorothy.
"I've known about this for a while," Jude replied somberly, lowering his gaze and taking a sip of his coffee, his tone tinged with
bitterness. "The man who hit Mom with his car is the sone who pulled the plug on Phoenix's ventilator a few years back."
