Chapter 1114 The Wedding
Was it because she was obsessed with a man who initially showed her no interest?
Damien gently clasped Cherise's hand, exhaling softly.
If only Lennon had recognized his love for Lucy sooner and taken the chance to pursue her earlier, maybe the situation wouldn't
have spiraled like this. But alas, it was too late now. To Lucy, Lennon's once reckless persistence was now nothing but irritating and
bothersome. As she had once said, her affection for him had long since dissipated, along with the bond they once shared over their
child.
"I hope Lucy discovers genuine happiness in the days toe." As Lennon's good friend, Damien could offer only these words at

His support didn't waver for Lennon, nor was he oblivious to Lennon's pain. But upon uncovering the truth behind Lucy leaving
Lennon years ago andprehending the anguish she had endured... Like any ordinary person, he could only hope for Lucy to
swiftly find happiness again and for Lennon to move on from this relationship. Such an oue would undoubtedly benefit all
involved.
"But it's evident that Lucy isn't drawn to Colin. Considering the baggage of a previous marriage and a child..." Realistically
speaking, embarking on a new relationship with Lucy in the future would demand considerable bravery from any man, wouldn't it?
Cherise mulled over this thought as a hush enveloped the church.
"As we approach the finalization of their union, if there exists any reason why they should not be joined, speak now or forever hold
your peace," the priest declared, standing poised in the middle of the church.
"Lucy Staber, do you willingly take this man as your husband, mitting to a lifelong partnership with him? Will you cherish him,

The stark declaration rippled through the congregation, stirring whispers and murmurs. All eyes swiveled to the intruder advancing
down the aisle, save for Lucy's.
Lucy didn't turn around. She remained resolute, standing upright on the spot, clutching her bouquet tightly. Herplexion was
drained of color, and her expression was grave. She didn't need to turn around. She knew exactly who the man was. She
recognized his voice all too well. His voice was etched into her memory, echoing in countless midnight reveries, calling out her
name.
Gritting her teeth, she pondered his audacity. He's really here. How dare he? How does he have the nerve to disrupt my wedding?
Who does he think he is to oppose my union?! Lennon descended the church's stairs with measured steps, his gaze locked on
Lucy's unmoving form.
At that moment, she was draped in a pristine white gown with a cascading train that was almost seven feet long. She was ethereal,
her figure elegant and slender in the bridal gown.
