Chapter 1097 Twin Brother
Cherise's lips formed a tight line. It was her first twitnessing Damien display such tenderness towards someone other than
their loved ones after so many years. Though she conceded that Colin didn't appear as threatening as others they'd encountered...
he had still threatened them and bore ties to Jude.
"Perhaps he truly is my long-lost twin," Damien chuckled softly as he carefully settled Colin onto the sofa. "Let's just say | feel a
certain kinship with someone who resembles me."
Cherise remained silent, her thoughts racing as she settled Beckham onto the sofa beside Colin. She turned her attention to Colin,
observing him closely. When he was asleep, the resemblance to Damien was uncanny. She pursed her lips, then glanced up at
Damien. "Darling, do you really have a twin brother?" The similarity between the two men was striking, to say the least.

"I can't say for certain," Damien replied, squinting slightly. Sitting on the nearby sofa, he pulled out his phone, snapped a picture of
Colin, and sent it to Maeve.
Shortly after, Maeve called him. "Are you sure the person in the photo you sentisn't you?"
"Absolutely," Damien affirmed with a shrug. "I can video call you now if you'd like."
"No need," Maeve responded, her lips pursed in thought. "When you were born, | was only five years old and at Grandpa's house.
Mom underwent premature labor with you while Dad was away on a business trip abroad. Upon hearing about Mom going into
labor, he rushed back on an overnight flight..."
"During Mom's hospitalization, Uncle Raymond handled everything until you were born," Maeve continued, her voice pausing
briefly. "As for the rest, I'm uncertain. But | don't recall anyone mentioning you had a twin."
Damien pressed his lips together tightly. This was what he had surmised as well. If the Lenoir family had known his twin brother's
existence, they wouldn't have remained inactive for many years.
"If we can locate Uncle Raymond..." Maeve's voice trailed off on the other end of the phone. "Uncle Raymond would know best if
you had a brother back then... Though | was skeptical before, after learning about Uncle Raymond's past actions... | believe he's
capable of anything. He's a coward. If you ask him nicely, you might uncover the truth."
"lI can't," Damien murmured, taking his phone and turning to step outside. Standing at the villa gate, he gazed out at the sea,
watching the police cars rush by along the shoreline. He closed his eyes. "He's passed away."
"What?" Maeve's voice on the phone shot up several notches. "How did he die?"

"He tried to kill someone, but they fought back. Ultimately, his own knife pierced his chest. It's essentially a suicide—he brought it
on himself." Beckham and Charisa had their lives destroyed by Raymond. Now, Raymond was dead, but Charisa had been dead for
five years. As for Beckham... his fate was still uncertain.
"Well, there's no other way," Maeve sighed. "If you suspect he's your brother, you can do a DNA test with your hair."
"Okay," Damien nodded. "If | remember correctly, our mom's nis Caitlin Vines, right?"
"Yes," Maeve chuckled helplessly. "Never mind that you said you couldn't remember if you had a twin brother. Now you've
otten our biological mother's name?"
"l just wanted to confirm."
