of glass shattering echoed in the darkness.

He rolled over ten yards before his body crashed into a huge tree. The tree collapsed, and he coughed up blood.

to treat his injuries. He quickly hid in a corner. On the other hand, the fallen tree had turned into pieces at the
drop of a hat.
