The next morning arrived faster than expected, the girls had left the previous night after we discussed my

mating ceremony and everything related.

| got dressed, stepped out of my room and straight to the courtyard where father awaited me. He had sent for

the moment | had woken up earlier and | had to hurriedly honor his call.

| walked straight to the courtyard and found him seated there, going through a few papers | had neglected for

quite stime.

"Greetings, Father." | said the moment he looked up atand our eyes met.

"My little Alpha, Take a seat." He smiled broadly atand | nodded, taking a seat beside him immediately.

"lI would assyou had a goodnight rest, right?" He asked and | nodded.

"| did, thank you father."

"Alright then, firstly I'll apologize for waking you up so early this morning."

| shook my head, "No father, | already woke up before your call cin."

He shrugged, "Alright then. Now, you accepted Alexander's proposal again, right?"

I nodded.

"So, have you thought about what would happen to this pack if you do?" He raised

a questioning brow atand that was when it hit me.

| really hadn't thought about this pack when | accepted Alex's proposal again. If | got married to him, | had to go

over to his pack to live with him.

That would leave the Ironclaw Pack without an Alpha and prone to attacks by rogues.

"Actually, No. | haven't thought about that." He sighed, nodding in understanding.

"What do | do now?" This was the disadvantage of being an Alpha and getting together with another Alpha.

"Do you trust Alexander alot?" He suddenly asked and | raised a brow this tat him.

"| accepted his proposal, so of course | trust him alot."

"Good then, you don't have to worry about this pack anymore. Just ask him to cover | have a few things |

want to discuss with him."

"Oh, alright then. I'll call him now." | said and walked out of the room.

"Cindy what do you think?" | questioned as | fished out my phone to call Alex.

"Well I don't know much about all these, But | think your father wants to hand the position over to Alexander."

She guessed and | paused in my tracks.

"You think he would do that? But Alex can't leave his pack members too" | argued.

"Just call him to cover and then you all can have this conversation together." Cindy suggested and |

complied.

| dialed Alex's number and it eventually went through.

"Erika." His deep voice sounded from the other end and | felt my toes curl in excitement.

"Alex, uh my father asked to see you. Can you caround today?" | asked carefully, not wanting to sound

demanding.

"I'm currently on my way to the Ironclaw Packhouse." His reply was unexpected and it leftsurprised.

"Oh wow, alright then." | let out and ended the call immediately.

| walked out of the house, moving to stand at the entrance and wait for his arrival.

Soon, his car pulled into the premises and stopped just before me.

The guard took the keys from him to drive the car to the parking lot while Alex walked towards me.

| smiled thinly, just about to welchim when he snaked his hand around my waist unexpectedly and lowered

his head to press his lips on mine.

| went crimson in an instant, also freezing in spot. That little gesture made my heart flutter slightly in joy. Maybe

| did make the right decision by accepting him again.

He pulled away and grinned at me.

"Hello again." He chuckled while | tucked my lips in.

"You shouldn't do that in the open, what If someone sees us." | hit his arm playfully and he raised both his hands

in surrender.

"| apologize."

"Cwith me," | called and turned around to walk back into the house and straight to the courtyard.

Father saw us walk in and a smile made its way to his face.

"He arrived faster than expected." Father said with a small smile and | nodded.

"He was already on his way here before you asked for him."

Father smiled, "Why was he coming again? He can't bear to part ways with you?" The sinister smile never left his

face.

"No, don't get him wrong. He was...."

"Yes, Alpha Jerome. | couldn't bear to part ways with her." Alex said with a grin and | turned to glare at him.

Father laughed at that, while gesturing to the seat before him.

"Take a seat, Alex."

Alex nodded and sat down together with me.

Once we were seated, father began.

"Alpha Alexander, | called you here to ask you one question. Since you're getting together with the Alpha of the

Ironclaw Pack and you are the Alpha of the Moonforest Pack, what do you think about merging together our

packs?"

Oh, so that was the idea.

To merge the pack's together.

That was brilliant of father, that way, we would both rule our packs and still stay

together.

| turned to Alex to see the look of surprise in his eyes.

"Really sir? You want to merge our packs?" He asked instead and father

shrugged.

"If it's okay with you, then yes."

Alex bit his lower lips and nodded.

"Yes, Alpha. It is alright with me."

| breathed out a sigh of relief when | heard him say that.

Finally, we would kill two birds with one stone.

Get together and get our packs together as well.

Alex would becthe Alpha of the Ironclaw Pack, while still mated to me.
