Olivia's face was pale, her eyes wide with despair. She couldn't take it anymore. Ever since she returned home, it
was either Stephanie causing trouble or Amber. Even Chris was treating her coldly now. She felt like she was
going to lose her mind.
“Since you all wantgone, then I'll grant your wish,” she whispered, her voice breaking.
Amber scoffed. “Oh, please, if you truly didn’t care about your life, you wouldn't have setup in the first

Olivia and Catlin were both left speechless.
Amber mocked them both as she left the room. Olivia had tried to set her up, but Amber had turned the tables
and exposed the plan on the spot.
Catlin looked at Olivia with a heavy heart. “Why did you do this?” she asked, her voice trembling.
Even though she didn’t like Amber, this was too underhanded. There were plenty of ways to get rid of someone,
but this was just too low.
“Mom. L... Olivia began, but Catlin cut her off.
“Just stop talking” Catlin said, clearly upset. “You're this sick and still can’t keep quiet.” She turned and walked
away.
Olivia's breath hitched, her face growing to take
even paler as tears streamed down her face. “Why does everyone i anything away from me?” she shouted
angrily.
First it was Stephanie, and now Amber. Remembering how Amber had just attacked her, Olivia felt her whole
body burning with pain.

Macro and the others.
Macro trailed behind, grumbling. “Bert and Bernie are totally different.”
Bernie had seemed shady, but Bert had been surprisingly accommodating. He'd handed over the item without
hesitation once he understood their purpose. If they'd known Bert had it all along, they could have saved
themselves the trouble of coming here.
Sebastian glanced at Macro and raised an eyebrow. “Do you really think anyone of them could be nice?”

Stephanie's brow furrowed slightly as she glanced at Macro, a warning in her eyes. “We're not out of Bert's

“Tm just saying” Macro muttered.
“Don’t you know where we are? Stephanie said.
Macro pursed his lips and fell silent. Stephanie and Sebastian were right. He needed to be more mindful.
Sebastian's phone buzzed in his pocket, and he pulled it out to see Richard’s nflashing on the screen. He
answered, and Richard's voice cthrough, tense and accusing “Did you lie to me?”
