Sofia was rendered speechless. The line went silent.
Stephanie nervously clutched the lapel of Sebastian's robe.
He pressed, “Go ahead.” His tone was serious and intimidating.
Sofia stammered, “Sebastian, I, um, you know...”
Actually, Sofia was genuinely afraid of Sebastian when he was serious. She couldn't even form a complete
sentence.
Sebastian's cold aura seemed to travel through the phone, hitting Sofia like a chill.
“I was just joking with her. You know I miss her,” Sofia quickly said.

Sebastian snorted, “You miss her that much?” The idea of threatening someone and then claiming it was a joke

She couldn't believe Stephanie hadn't turned her in. It had to be Stephanie who informed Elliot. She was really
mad at Stephanie who betrayed her.
“Wait, isn’t it just dawn in Long Harbor now? Could Stefi really wake up this early?” Sofia asked, puzzled about
why Stephanie’s phone was with Sebastian.
Stephanie's heart leaped into her throat as she heard Sofia’s question. She clutched Sebastian's robe tighter.
