Chapter 412 Important Person Sierra was infuriated as she took a few steps back.

Her actions made Benson's heart ache, so he blurted out without thinking, "Are you disgusted by me? We've done more than kissing before. Just a kiss wouldn't hurt." If there weren't so many people around them, she would have shoved the cake she had onto Benson's face. What nonsense was he spewing? Things were completely different back then.

Once again, Sierra was reminded of how selfish Benson was. She found the situation ridiculous and glared at him coldly before walking off to look for Theo.

If someone had seen what had just happened, the rumors would have been endless.

Theo, who was talking with someone, saw Sierra approaching him from the corner of his eyes.

He immediately reached his hand out toward her, causing the people around them to all look at her differently once again.

Once Theo had sent everyone away, he noticed that Sierra looked displeased. "What's wrong?" Pursing her lips, she hesitated momentarily before telling him about what Benson had done. Feeling down, she continued, "He never thinks about others. If I had reacted just a tad bit slower..." Theo's eyes turned cold, clearly displeased with Benson's lack of boundaries. It didn't matter whether Benson still had feelings for Sierra or not. She was now his aunt.

"I'll teach him a lesson after we get back." Theo's patience toward his reckless and impulsive nephew was wearing thin.

At that moment, the Jones family had finally made an appearance, making their way toward Theo and Sierra as they exchanged greetings with their guests.

"Mr and Mrs. Gray, Melody toldyou two would be here, but I didn't believe her," Gordon Jones, Melody's dad, said with a chuckle as he gave Sierra a once- over.

Sierra collected her emotions and smiled politely. "Ms. Jones was gracious enough to invite us, so it's natural for us to attend her banquet." His eyes flickered and did not answer Sierra.

Instead, he smiled and turned to Theo. "MR Gray, you've been friends with Melody since you two were kids. She keeps telling us how eager she is to connect with her old friends." Theo patted Sierra's hands and replied calmly, "We were just classmates, so I wouldn't call us childhood friends. "When Ms Jones' horse had lost, control and nearly knocked into my wife at the stables, Mr. Brown had been the one to apologize to us. Honestly, they're basically the definition of childhood friends." Gordon's smile froze, and it took two seconds for him to regain his composure.

With a smile, he quickly changed the subject. "Mr. Brown has been here for quite stime. He's upstairs accompanying Melody now. Mr. Gray, would you like to head upstairs too?" Theo declined his offer without an ounce of hesitation. "It's alright. I plan on introducing Sierra to a few of my friends." Nodding, Gordon looked at them, responding, "Then, I'll leave you two to it." After making his way around the banquet hall, he walked onto the stage and picked up the microphone. "My dear friends, I'd like to thank you all for coming here today..." Gordon continued his speech before concluding, "My beloved daughter, Melody Jones, has finally returned from studying abroad.

"She'll begin training in the company now that she's back, so I hope everyone will helpguide and support her in her journey." The hall erupted in applause.

As the applause carried on, Melody walked down the stairs in a sexy black dress. Her hair had been combed to the side, making her look smart and hot.

She walked down arm-in-arm with her mother, Abigail Brooks.

om Meanwhile, Douglas and a beautiful ΝΟ young woman walked behind her, and pride filled the eyes of all three of them.

Melody scanned the crowd before she spotted the person she missed dearly. Her smile immediately brightened as she addressed them, "Thank you everyone for attending my banquet.

"My reasons for coming hare simple. On one hand, I wanted to share a portion of my parents m burden. On the other hand, someone dear tois here in this country, so I cback for him."
