Chapter 380 Hoes Before Bros The others looked at Theo and Sierra. They were marveling at the fact that smiling suited her more, but they also noticed how he had looked at her.
Meanwhile, Douglas cast an inexplicable glance at Melody. Needless to say, he was aware of her obsession with Theo. However, Theo was already a married man.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtDouglas made a point to gather everyone because he wanted them both to lay everything on the table and move on. Naturally, he had a secret wish as well. Perhaps Melody would finally notice him after she moved on from Theo.
However, the truth was that Melody didn't give up on winning Theo's heart for over ten years, proving that she was extraordinarily strong-willed. She saw how close Theo was to Sierra, but that didn't deter her either.
"Ms. Shaw, you're a lucky lady." Melody sighed gently. No one could be sure whether she was talking about the fish Sierra caught or her being married to Theo.
Sierra behaved like she hadn't heard Melody and put her catch into a cooler with Theo. She exclaimed, "We have fish for lunch now. How do you want it prepared?" Theo put the bait onto the hook again before casting it back into the lake. Then, he fixed the fishing rod on the railing and walked over to Sierra. "You can decide." She gave it a good, long thought as she reached out to touch the fish's slippery scales. Then, she said hesitantly, "I haven't had any grilled fish lately, but smothered fish sounds yummy too. That reminds me, poaching it will make for a delicious cuisine as well." Yvette couldn't help but laugh. She chimed in playfully, "You're one greedy lady, aren't you?" Theo noticed Sierra frowning and reached out to rub her eyebrows. After he had done so, he mentioned indulgently, "You can prepare the fish in any way you want. I'll ask them to catch more for you." He cared more about doting on her than he did about overworking the rest of them. Daniel and the others couldn't help but chuckle before they gripped their fishing rods and wore a serious look on their faces. "Sierra, you have nothing to worry about. Theo will do anything to make sure you have fish for lunch. If we can't catch any with the rods, he'll make us get in the water and catch swith our bare hands." "Theo is the best friend you can ask for. He values his wife over his friends." "Sierra. If you can catch a fish, I'm sure I can too." They chimed in one after another, and things beclively and cheerful once more. Melody and Douglas were the only ones who couldn't fit in.
"Melody." Douglas sighed internally, but he actually also felt relieved. He asked in a concerned tone, "Are you feeling unwell? How about I walk you back to your room first?" Theo had made his attitude crystal clear-Melody didn't stand a chance with him.
It made things worse that the rest of the group had ignored her, too.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmDouglas was worried that she might feel awkward. So, he found an excuse to take her away from them. However, she merely trained her gaze on Theo as she shook her head and turned down his kind offer.
"Theo, it's been a long tsince we've seen each other. Don't you want to catch up on the good old days?" Sierra glanced at Theo and realized that he was as calm and nonchalant as ever. Then, she turned her gaze away, lowered her head, and continued to look for fish.
Melody waited for a while, but it didn't seem like Theo would respond to her. Her smile faltered as her eyes reddened. Then, she hung her head in dejection.
Douglas clenched his fists as he stood to the side, his eyes darkened. ΟΠΙ He held himself back for two minutes before he eventually walked over to Theo. "Theo, I need to have a word with you. Let's talk over there."
Sierra was toying with the fish in the cooler, but she paused briefly when she heard what Douglas said. She kept her head lowered to conceal the mockery in her eyes. Theo might not have cared about Melody, but he needed to show his childhood friend srespect. Rising to his feet, he said to Yvette, "Look after Sierra for me." Yvette reached out and replied bluntly, "Okay. Leave her with me. I won't let anyone pick on Cee." Sierra blushed when she heard Yvette addressing her by her nickname. She protested softly, "Sierra is fine."
Yvette saw how shy Sierra was, and The she was even more pumped up. "That's how Theo addressed you! way see it, you're very adorable and need an even cuter nthat suits you. Don't you think 'Cee' sounds more adorable than 'Sierra'?"
