Chapter 237 Allergy Looking at Sierra, Theo felt the urge to ruffle her hair.

As he raised his right hand to place it on her head, Nathan's expression darkened. "Mr. Gray, I just told you not to exert yourself, and here you are moving around carelessly. Look, your wound is bleeding again." Sierra immediately reached up to remove the large hand from her head, looking at him with concern.

"Uncle Theo," she said softly, almost pleading. "You need to behave. When you're injured, you have to listen to the doctor." Theo's eyes flickered. He stroked her head twice more before finally withdrawing his hand.

After Nathan finished bandaging him, Theo asked, "Sierra, could you geta shirt?" Sierra walked into the closet and selected a black shirt from a row of suits.

Since Theo couldn't lift his arms easily, Sierra helped him put it on. Standing behind him, she noticed scars scattered around the bandage. Burn marks stretched across nearly half his back. It was hard to imagine how extensive the injury must have been.

"Uncle Theo, how did you get these scars?" Theo took the shirt from her and replied, "It was just an old injury from an accident." She quickly stepped forward to help him. As she did so, her fingers accidentally brushed against his body. Especially while buttoning his shirt, Sierra couldn't help but stare at his well-defined abs, unsure where to look.

By the the was fully dressed, her face was burning.

"Well, you haven't eaten yet. I'll go cook something." Watching her flee in embarrassment, a flicker of amusement crossed Theo's eyes.

Sierra hid in the kitchen, splashing cold water on her hands before pressing them to her flushed face. The image of Theo's toned abs flashed in her mind-did he have an eight-pack? She lightly patted her warm cheeks, her eyes wide and teary as she whispered to herself. "What are you even thinking about? Seriously!" Once her face had cooled down a bit, she opened the fridge, pondering what to cook.

Theo had many dietary restrictions, so Sierra chose to make sweet potato oatmeal. It was light and easy on the stomach.

Meanwhile, Theo had already returned to the bedroom, with an IV in the back of his hand, looking pale.

"Mr. Gray, the wound needs air to heal quickly. Try to wear loose clothing and avoid rubbing the wound, otherwise, it will bleed again.

"Don't take too many painkillers." Nathan instructed while packing up his things.

At that moment, Sierra walked in, holding a bowl of oatmeal. "Uncle Theo, I made soatmeal. Have a little."

Just as Nathan was about to leave, he suddenly remembered something and stopped. He turne e turned to Theo with a serious expression. "Mr. Gray, as your family doctor, I must remind you to never touch sweet potatoes again." Sierra glanced down at the oatmeal in her hands and asked curiously, "Why?"

Nathan looked at her and explained seriously. "Mr. Gray is allergic to sweet potatoes. In his condition, m eating sweet potatoes could at minimum cause vomiting and diarrhea. In more severe cases, it could lead to a fever serious enough for hospitalization. If not treated promptly, the swelling in his throat could even cause suffocation and death." Sierra's hands trembled, and she nearly dropped the bowl. "It's that serious?"

Nathan nodded firmly and turned back to Theo. He urged, "Mr. Gray, now that you know your allergen, avoid it at all costs. Pay close attention to your daily diet. "This is a matter of life and death. Please take my words to heart." Theo hadn't expected Nathan to bring this up suddenly. He frowned and said, "Got it. You can go now." Having said all he needed to, Nathan didn't linger and walked toward the door. "Wait." Sierra suddenly spoke up. "Dr. Cohen, is he allergic to sweet potatoes?"
