Chapter 220 Waist Grab Theo's gaze darkened slightly as he looked at Sierra. "Are you okay?" "I'm fine. He just talked for a bit and left," she explained, shaking her head lightly.

"Where's Lyonel?" Theo's sharp eyes swept across the room, noticing the absence of her bodyguard. His brows knitted slightly, his expression unreadable but laced with discontent.

"Lyonel went out to buy groceries for me. He's not back yet," Sierra quickly clarified, worried Theo might blhim. "He's very responsible-it was just bad timing. Don't be mad at him." He nodded but stepped inside, his presence immediately filling the space.

Madison, ever observant, caught sight of the bouquet behind his back and her eyes sparkled. "Mr. Gray, is that a bouquet? Did you buy flowers?" Only then did Theo take the flowers from behind him. The tall, elegant tulips nestled between vibrant green leaves, their petals blooming beautifully.

Sierra's eyes flickered with surprise, and before she could say anything, his deep, steady voice sounded, "I passed by a flower shop and thought these suited you. Do you like them?" A soft pink dusted her cheeks as she nodded. "Thank you, Uncle Theo. I love them." Madison let out a knowing chuckle. "Passed by, huh? More like you went there on purpose to pick out the perfect bouquet for Cee. Mr. Gray, you're more romantic than I expected." Sierra grew even more flustered, quickly changing the topic. "Uncle Theo, did you just get off work? Was it a busy day?" She noticed his usual business attire, making him look sharp as ever. He had clearly cstraight from the office.

Theo nodded, placing the flowers gently on the table before turning his gaze back to her. "How are you feeling today? Is your shoulder still hurting?" "It's much better now. Nothing to worry about," she reassured him, lifting her arm slightly to demonstrate before walking toward the water dispenser to get him a drink.

Just as she reached for the cup, Theo walked over and took it from her hand. "I'll do it." His low, deep voice carried a hint of command as he took the glass, but he didn't let go of her hand. His warm palm wrapped around her cooler one, his grip gentle yet firm. "Why are your hands so cold?" His sharp eyes bore into hers, his voice laced with concern.

The warmth from his touch seeped into her skin, but instead of warming her hands, it made her face heat up instead.

Madison, watching from the side, felt like she had just been force-fed a mouthful of romance.

Ugh. Her boyfriend, who had eight-pack abs, was on a business trip and wouldn't be back for another two weeks. Sierra caught a glimpse of Madison's bitter expression and thought something might be wrong. She quickly asked with concern, "Maddy, what's wrong? Are you feeling okay?" She sighed tically. "I miss my boyfriend. I could be warming my hands on his eight-pack abs right now." Sierra blinked, momentarily thrown off. "...I shouldn't have asked." Madison flopped onto the couch and sighed again. "He's on a business trip for another two weeks. That's forever. I might as well go to a bar and flirt with scute guys." As soon as she finished speaking, she immediately felt a cold glare being directed at her.

Slowly, she turned her head, only to be met with Theo's glacial stare.

A shiver ran down her spine. "Mr. Gray, I was just joking! I swear! Don't I'd Cerever bela bad influence on cee! You two keep talking, I'll-well-go to my room now!" Without waiting for a response, she bolted, practically running to her room and slamming the door shut behind her.

This man was downright terrifying when he turned cold! Still, her boyfriend was so much better-gentle, caring, and actually listened to her.

Ugh, she needed to find her boyfriend to get scomfort.

Sierra just stood there, stunned and glanced up at Theo, still catching traces of his lingering cold expression.

She couldn't help but laugh softly.

"Uncle Theo, Maddy just talks big. When we go to & bar, it's just to look around. That's all." His gaze sharpened slightly. "We?"

He set the water glass down. Then, he suddenly reached out, gripping her slender waist, limone smooth motion, he pulled her closer, making her nearly stumble into him. "You've been to bars?" His voice dropped, his tone carrying a quiet authority.
