Chapter 204 Test After working for Theo for so many years, Adrian had never seen him this happy before. As soon as he stepped out of the office, he spotted Liam walking toward him. With a polite smile, Adrian greeted him, "Mr. Liam." "Is Theo in?" "Yes. He's in his office." "I need to discuss something with him," Liam spoke gently.
Adrian immediately stepped aside and even held the door open for him before leaving to take care of Theo's instructions. He knew that if he did everything smoothly, Mr. Gray might be in such a mood that he would double Adrian's year-end bonus as well.

"You missed this morning's meeting. Did something happen?" Liam asked with casual concern.
"Nothing serious. Sierra was discharged today. I took her home," Theo replied coolly, pouring a cup of drink and passing it to Liam.
Liam accepted the cup, his brows raising slightly in surprise. "Sierra's already discharged from the hospital? That was fast." "She didn't want to stay there. I arranged for a private doctor to continue her treatment at home." "I see..." Liam nodded thoughtfully. His eyes flickered with something unreadable as he took a slow sip of tea. "You seem to be looking after her. Benson mentioned that Edward personally asked you to take care of Sierra. I suppose that explains why you're so attentive." From his tone, Theo caught Liam testing the waters. His dark eyes flickered, but his voice remained indifferent. "It's not just because of Edward. It's me. I also want to take care of her." Liam paused, caught slightly off guard by his straightforward answer. He let out a small chuckle. "That's rare. You don't usually concern yourself with other people. So why Sierra?" "There's no particular reason," Theo explained casually, his tone as cold as ever. "I just don't like seeing her get hurt. If there's one thing I despise, it's men who take advantage of women. Every tI've cback, I've found Benson making her life miserable." His voice carried a dangerous chill, his deep black eyes darkening like an endless abyss. A sharp flicker of ice flashed through his gaze.
Liam's grip on his cup tightened slightly. He sighed, trying to keep his tone neutral. "I won't argue that Sierra has been through a lot. I didn't realize Benson had crossed so many lines. I spoke to him last night-he knows he messed up." Theo let out a dry chuckle, his expression mocking. "Liam, I'll be blunt. If Benson were my son and pulled that kind of crap, breaking his legs would've been the lightest punishment." Liam's face stiffened. His polite mask barely covered the unease in his eyes. "It's my fault for not raising him better," he admitted after a pause.
"You should keep him under control," Theo suggested coolly. "If he doesn't back off, it won't just be your problem. If Dad finds out what he's been up to, family punishment will be the least of his concerns."

Liam hesitated before speaking again. "You know how much Edward cares for Sierra-he rra-he treats her like his own granddaughter. And I've watched her grow up too. To me, she's practically family. Seeing her suffer breaks my heart."
He sighed, his voice carefully measured. "Benson did make mistakes. It's because he caresm about Sierra that he acted so impulsively. Theo, as his uncle, could you take stto talk to Sierra? Maybe help her understand that Benson regrets everything and wants another chance." His voice lowered slightly. "I can personally guarantee that Benson won't do anything to hurt her again. If he does, I'll be the first one to make him pay."
