Chapter 156 Agitating Her on Purpose Northridge Estates was a wealthy district. Each of its villas was worth tens of millions of dollars. The Gray Corporation developed the real estate area, and most of the villas here belonged to the Gray family.

Given how invaluable the villas were, it was quite shocking how Edward casually gave one to Sierra. What was more, she would be its sole owner. It was clear that he wanted it to be her premarital asset.

Jwas green with envy.

Edward owned Northridge Estates yet he had never offered to give one of the villas to her, even though she had married into the Gray family for years.

Sierra wasn't even married into the family, but he was already giving her a huge perk. What was even crazier was that she would be the sole owner of the villa. He must have been out of his mind.

When the Campbells wanted to buy a villa in Northridge Estates, Edward didn't even offer them any discount. Jfelt utterly mistreated. She was about to say something, but Liam stopped her.

"Don't upset Dad." She glared at him, but she kept her mouth shut. Once Sierra married into the Gray family, she would discipline and educate the younger one.

Meanwhile, William was excited beyond words, and his eyes sparkled. Edward might've said that the villa was meant for Sierra, but he would find a way to turn it into the Shaw family's possession.

Sierra was also startled by Edward's offer. Then, she hurriedly rejected him. "I can't take it, Grandpa." William heard her response, and his expression immediately changed. He was agitated and cursed at Sierra internally for being a fool.

What a moron she was. The villa was worth tens of billions of dollars, and she could have it for free, but she just had to turn it down.

Edward patted Sierra on her shoulder. His voice was both warm and firm when he spoke. "Take it. It's my gift for you." She wanted to reject him again, but Benson looked at her and chimed in warmly, "Grandpa adores you, Cee. Don't turn down his offer." "Mr. Gray Senjor treats you well, Sierra. You have to repay him with love and care in the future." William also hurriedly added. He patted Vera's hand and continued, "Your mom and I will be at ease if you're happy." Sierra raised her gaze and looked at him, and her eyes darkened. She could tell that he was threatening her. "It's getting late. Let's have dinner." Edward rose to his feet and headed to the dining hall.

Sierra pulled Benson back and said softly after everyone else had walked ahead, "I thought I had made myself clear, Benson." Benson's eyes becshifty, and he responded warmly, "I've also told you that I'm going to marry you, Cee. Actually, I can tell that you were deliberately riling my mom up to get her to object to our marriage." Sierra's expression shifted slightly. She raised her gaze and looked him in the eyes. Then, she enunciated each word, "Yeah. I did it on purpose because I don't want to marry you."

"The choice is not yours to make. We are a perfect match, Cee. It's just a little silly conflict. You'll forget about it when though tpasses." He protested and raised his hand to touch her delicate cheeks, but she pushed him away.

"I'll never forget about it." Sierra's gaze grew cold, and she snarled, "The m' way you're treating he doesn't make you any different from the people who picked onback then, Benson.

"Things can never go back to the way it was between us. Keep forcing me, and I'll only hate you more. She turned around with an icy expression and walked toward the dining hall. Benson's expression shifted, and a hint of loss flashed in his eyes, but he becresolute quickly. She could hate him for all he cared. It sure was better than being ignored.

Then, Benson hurried over.

Once everyone was gathered at the dining table, he rose to his feet and said solemnly, "Mr. and Mrs. Shaw. Cee and I have been together for three years. I would like to ask for her hand in marriage."
